Successful Dutch meeting on Molecular and Cellular Biophysics
On 28 and 29 September 2009 the annual Dutch meeting on Molecular and Cellular Biophysics was held at NH Koningshof in Veldhoven. With 300 participating physicists (220 in 2008) and many interesting speakers, the meeting was a big success.
The meeting consisted of plenary sessions, with invited presentations by national and international speakers, and special oral and poster sessions. Participants were very positive about the speakers and presentations, especially about keynote speaker Xiaowei Zhuang from Harvard University (USA). She gave a fascinating lecture about nanoscopic imaging of biomolecules and cells.
We would like to thank all participants who completed the meeting evaluation form. The organisers will carefully review all of the comments received so that next year’s Molecular and Cellular Biophysics meeting can be even better still.
Make a note in your diary: next year’s Dutch meeting on Molecular and Cellular Biophysics will be held on Monday 4 and Tuesday 5 October 2010.
