Project title A plasma-enhanced CVD reactor for the production of thin-film solar cells

Abstract We propose the detailed time- and space resolved numerical simulation of a plasma-enhanced CVD process for the production of thin-film solar cells. To that end we will introduce the chemical reduction methods that have been developed in the context of numerical combustion engineering into the realm of plasma physics. The resulting codes will be disseminated using modern web technologies such as Web Services, making them generally available in a language and platform agnostic way.
