Routeworkshop NWA route 'The quantum/nano-revolution'
On 28 April 2016 a workshop will be held in Delft on the NWA route: 'The quantum/nano-revolution', also known as route 18 from the National Science Agenda (de Nationale Wetenschapsagenda, NWA in short). De workshop is open for all researchers working in the field of quantum/nanoscience.
Route 18 aims to formulate an excellent, innovative research agenda connecting many researchers from different disciplines, which will enable the Netherlands to be on the forefront of the key technology of the 21st century. Which game changers should we focus on in the coming ten years to make a real difference?
Round table discussions
During the workshop participants will discuss about these topics on different tables. A number of exemplary game changer have already been identified in a first workshop in March, such as the back-up brain, quantum energy control, long distance safe communication, quantum fertilizer and security. Participants in the workshop can join discussion about these exemplary game changers , but there is also ample opportunity to come up with new game changer. Eventually, a small number of game changers will be selected and incorporated in the text that will be sent to the NWA steering group.
Organization
The organization of route workshop 'The quantum/nano revolution' is an effort of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, QuTech, FOM, STW, TNO and ASML.
