Future Energy Conference on 19 and 20 September 2017
The successful first edition of the 'Computational Sciences for Future Energy Conference' will be continued. The conference will bring together the Dutch research community in computational science for energy applications on 19 and 20 September in Eindhoven. The conference is organized and sponsored by Shell and NWO.
For whom
The conference is for all scientists working in the field of computational sciences related to energy, and particularly for researchers participating in the Shell-NWO programme 'Computational Sciences for Energy Research' (CSER) and the Shell-NWO programmes 'CO2 Neutral Fuels' and 'Uncertainty Reduction in Smart Energy Systems' (URSES).
Programme
The plenary lectures of the conference will be given by leading scientists in the field of computational science. The conference topics are: CO2 neutral fuels, computational chemistry, geosciences, multiphase flow, solar energy, wind energy material sciences and URSES. CSER PhD students will give oral and poster presentations and pitches. Awards will be granted to the PhD students with the best pitch and the best poster presentation.
Deadlines
The deadline for submission of abstracts: 1 June 2017.
The deadline for registration (without abstract): 31 August 2017.
