Four physicists receive ERC Starting Grant
Herma Cuppen, Niels Deen, Alexey Kimel and Gijs Wuite received a Starting Grant from the European Research Council. With the 1,5 million euro they can continue their research for the next five years.
Three of them were previously successful regarding the Innovational Research Incentives Scheme of the Physics Division of NWO: Cuppen received a Veni-Grant in 2006, Kimel received a Vidi-Grant in 2006 and Wuite received a Vici-Grant in 2008. Deen is closely associated with the Industrial Partnership Programme 'Fundamentals of heterogenous bubbly flow'.
