Academische Jaarprijs 2011

The Academische Jaarprijs is intended for the best translation of scientific research to a wider audience. The team of scientists with the most creative communication plan receives the main prize of 100,000 euros to realise the plan submitted.

The teams can submit a proposal until 4 April. The teams that survive the screening for scientific quality will be offered a guest lecture in communication full of inspirational tips to help make a communication proposal worthy of the final.

During the final of the Academische Jaarprijs, the three finalists present their communication plans live to the jury. The team that the jury believes will most successfully translate the scientific research to a wider audience will be rewarded with the main prize of 100,000 euros to realise the communication plan.
